Man, what a team that year.

I figured that this really had nothing to do with soccer and it was interesting enough to start is own thread.

Its too bad that for whatever reason Montreal has never really embraced baseball. It's really a Catch 22 for the management and the fans there. They don't want to support the team because the Expos ship everyone good out and the Expos don't keep anyone around because they don't generate enough revunue.

Its really a shitty situation up there. I personally believe they should have left Montreal years ago but that's just me.

But lets play pretend shall we.

I just took the 1994 Team and took some notable names off of it. Now keep in mind that no team in baseball retains all their players so lets take some 3 to 5 off just this list.

Look at some of the players that even 10 years later could have played some quality time in "North of the Border"

Pedro Martinez. (Hall of Fame perhaps)
John Wetteland (Former Ace Closer for some 7+ years)
Butch Henry ( Former servicable middle relief)
Darrin Fletcher ( Former All Star Catcher for the Blue Jays)
Will Cordero (Wife Beater, maybe its good they let him go)
Moises Alou (Talented Outfielder 35-100 guy)
Cliff Floyd (Still kicking around as a wicked decent OF'er)
Larry Walker (Real good a few years ago)
Marquis Grissom (Good OF)

Other players that come off the top of my head that have left the team in recent memory:

Randy Johnson, Bartolo Colon, Javier Vasquez, Vladdy Daddy.

DD's Favorite of All Times

I finally played live and it was fantastic.
