Who's Cruz? Isnt Clement the 5th starter on the Cubs?

I was having a conversation with my cousin on the way to work this morning, and I realized theres a lot of teams that can compete in the NL.

In the east, I feel the Phillies are the strongest team, plus the Braves are in it every year, and the Marlins are the defending champs, so you cant count them out.

In the central, the Cubs, Astros, and Cardinals all have solid squads

In the West, theres the Giants, and the Dodgers' pitching is too good to look past.

Thats eight teams (out of 16) with legitimate playoff chances. Then you have other marginal teams to worry about, such as San Diego (some new additions, such as David Wells and Brian Giles should help them out), Colorado, whose offense can really bust out, and Arizona, where Randy Johnson and Brandon Webb will really hold down the pitching rotation.
