| I hadn't heard about this, but I do know that Don Cherry says a lot of stupid things, and this one doesn't sound at all unlike him. Obviously he's a great hockey personality, but he's also a really close-minded dick a lot of the time. I'm sure he's right about Europeans/French-Canadians wearing visors more often, but it's nothing he should be mocking them for. He's a traditionalist, plain and simple, and needs to realize that some evolution can help hockey (ie. European players, face visors).
The 7-second delay seems retarded though, since everyone knows what they're getting when they watch Coach's Corner. |
