Raw Recap

The show opened with the Abraham Washington show. Since Raw was in Atlanta, he made a few Hawks jokes and then introduced his first guest, Batista. Abraham asked Batista why he walked out on Christian in their tag match last week. He said that Christian was an unnecessary roadblock on the road to winning the WWE Championship. He also said that he was tired of doing another man's work, like he was when he left Evolution. Abraham then introduced his next guest Christian, who said that he would cause more pain to Batista than Kozlov and Henry caused him last week.

After that, MVP took on Kofi Kingston. Everyone was anxious to see what was up with MVP after his less-than-stellar-showing on Saturday Night's Main Event against Jack Swagger. He came out very lethargically, like he didn't want to be there. Suprisingly, he caught a breath of life midway though the match and won with a Shining Player's Boot. It seemed that MVP was back to normal. After the match, however, an unknown voice told MVP that ""he did not do what was asked of him", which was lose the match, and that he had to "pay the consequences". After a short pause, two men in ski masks came out and abducted the Primetime Player. Will this unknown mastermind reveal himself at Unforgiven?

We learned that the main event for tonight would be CM Punk and Jack Swagger vs. John Cena and Carlito with Shane McMahon as the special referee.

Beth Phoenix defeated Gail Kim to move on to Unforgiven to face Maryse for the Divas title.

Randy Orton took on Triple H in a great matchup. The ever-resourceful Legend Killer hit a chop block on Triple H early in the match. This enabled him to take out his vertical base, and attempt to weaken The Game. Eventually Triple H rose to his feet, and flattened Orton with a spinebuster. Orton got up, went for the RKO, but it was countered into a Pedigree, enabling the Game to win. Wil he be so fortunate when DX takes on Save_Us_RKO at Unforgiven in a Falls Count Anywhere Match?

The main event started as a civilized wrestling match, then erupted into an all out brawl. Shane McMahon, the special referee, declared the match a Double DQ. He then grabbed a steel chair, hitting Jack Swagger, Carlito and John Cena. CM Punk left the ring before he suffered the same fate. Will Shane O Mac be dancing all the way to the Championship? Find out this Sunday on Pay Per View!
