To be completely honest, it seems really rude and ignorant to me. I know the school board has stated that Jehovah's Witnesses are excused from school that final week if they'd like, but again, it seems rude and ignorant. I love so much about Christmas, and I'd hate to see it brought down by anything, but I can't help but feel bad for people (especially kids) who don't celebrate it. | In this instance I do feel sorry for the minorities. But then why should you be allowed to celebrate Christmas because of the beliefs of others? I know in this instance it's almost ramming it down the throats of others, but still...
You guys got/get to do that at Xmas? British schools suck in comparison. |
