The controversial pair, who enjoyed global chart success in 2003, have announced they want to rule their home country Russia.
Lena Katina says she wants to take over from President Vladimir Putin at the Kremlin with Julia Volkova running her campaign for power.
Tatu shot to fame with number one hit All The Things She Said and went on to represent Russia at the Eurovision song contest.
"They are well aware they are quite controversial but with their huge fanbase I wouldn't be surprised of they succeeded," said a friend.
