It looks like moviegoers will be able to see the creatures of Where the Wild Things Are even bigger, as ComingSoon.net learned at a special IMAX event held at Comic-Con on Wednesday that the Spike Jonze-directed adaptation will hit IMAX screens on October 16 as well.

The Warner Bros. release, featuring Catherine Keener, Max Records, Mark Ruffalo, Lauren Ambrose, James Gandolfini, Catherine O'Hara and Forest Whitaker, is based on Maurice Sendak's classic book about Max, who is sent to bed without supper and imagines sailing away to the land of Wild Things, where he is made king.
Wow that is going to be amazing. I can't wait.
