Tommy, that is BS about ROH's title being defended outside the country more than the WWE Title. WWE does international tours all the time and everytime they have the titles defended. WWE has also had their title change hands outside of the country (something ROH has never done with their main title). Not to mention that WWE is seen by millions of people worldwide every week, compared to a few thousand for ROH.

I am not saying they need to match WWE's production values, but they should at least look better than what I can do with my own handheld camera (which they didn't before they got their cameras from HDNet).

I didn't say I have to have heard of them, it's just that it's hard to get into any of the characters (which is an important part of professional wrestling) or care what happens when most of these indy wrestlers blend together and you have no clue who any of them are.

horrorfan, I have seen a few pre-HDNet shows. A couple of matches were good, but most were bad or average.

I also think it's a joke that in 2009 any promotion thinks that it makes sense to tape 2 months worth of shows and storylines in a 2 day period. You can tell when title changes are gonna happen and not happen based on it (i.e. you won't see a new champion appear on their show for the next month and a half because they have already taped all of their shows that will air until the end of August). TNA at least does 2, sometimes 3, weeks at once and not 8.

If people want to like ROH, fine. I don't think you can even begin to consider them a major promotion though.
