-Opening Promo - This opening promo was good, entertainment wise. I mean, the mic skills were compelling and Angle did a really good job defining the Godfather character. Booking wise though, it horrible and overbooked. So MEM hates Foley, who just wants to be left alone but hates Jarret, who hates both MEM and Foley and came out to fend off MEM just to hit Foley with the guitar himself? Okay, whatever.

-Morgan/MEM promos - From the looks of it, Angle and the Mafia are going to be dangling a position in front of Morgan, only for him to become impatient and side with the young side...which is good news if you ask me. I like Morgan, think he's charismatic and good on the mic, as well as in the ring. He definitely looks like a main eventer. Being involved with this angle can only help him, if you ask me. Doesn't matter which side he takes. It looks like they are involved more of the younger stars again. Hopefully they stick to whatever they are planning with him.

-Sharmell/Jenna promos - They had a little bit of time, which was good, because it's one of the less important matches.

-Abyss Promos - Alright, so the guy flips out due to someone else's advice and it seems like he's back to his old self. I marked out. So we're gonna have Abyss vs. Stevie in some 10,000 Machetes match and Abyss is going to destroy Stevie right? Right? I am right am I Vince? I mean, this entire four months of booking wasn't nothing was it? Hell, certainly you wouldn't book Abyss to revert back to his old self for no reason would you Vince? Oh. More ridiculous angles. Okay. So Stevie has kidnapped whatserface and is implying he's going to rape her. That's....um....yeah. Horrible, horrible, horrible, horrible!

-Amazing Red vs. Cody Deaner - This one was a hard one to judge. It was literally up and down. Wacky stuff and antics from Deaner when he was in control and then fun high spots from Red when he was in control. It told a story I guess, wit hthe whole stupid Deaner learning from ODB thing, and him going up to the top even though it hadn't been taught to him yet. It was okay, I guess.

-Eric Young vs. Rhino - This was a pretty meh match. Nothing special, but it wasn't horrible. EY won, thank God, but the best thing about this match was definitely Young smacking the shit out of Neal.

-Beautiful People vs. Awesome Kong and Tara - Pretty short match, which is typical of Womens wrestling but it was very good for that short time. I liked the match, and I guess it got done what it got done. The spider shit was a little over the top, they couldn't just stick to bad ass psycho Victoria? Also with the looks of it, they'll have Tara win the Title and Kong turn on her, Heelin it up again. I was kind of hoping they'd wait to pull the trigger on this. Oh well. Good match, ruined by the storyline consequences of it.

-Team 3D vs. Booker T and Scott Steiner - This match was surprisingly better from what I'd expect from four over the hill wrestlers. It wasn't exceptional, no, but it was good and definitely watchable. They gave it about as much time as it should have gotten, and had good commentary at the same time, with Beer Money on the booth with them. The only thing was the match was horribly over booked with Bashir/Kiyoshi coming out and taking out Beer Money and then The British Invasion coming out and costing Team 3D the match. So we now have five teams involved with the Tag Titles, which is fine, it makes it important. The only difference is that we had Booker and Steiner go over, meaning that Team 3D and British Invasion are feuding but Kiyoshi/Bashir were pretty pointless. They aren't going to be in the match. They were just to perhaps stop Beer Money from helping Team 3D? IDK. Good match, way too overbooked.

-Jeff Jarret and AJ Styles vs. Kurt Angle and Samoa Joe - Wholey shit they actually gave this match time. 15 minutes in fact. The only thing wrong with this match was that it was a World Title match. Kurt and Jarret were great like always. Joe and AJ were great as always. This match was just really fun. It was weird. TNA switched into serious mode for once, and we had a real main event to take serious, for the first time in however long I can remember. The ending was great, with the Tag Teaser which would have led to Jarret escaping the Ankle Lock. Ending up with him passing out since he didn't want to tap but couldn't get out. Good match, surprisingly not overbooked.

Ending - Well AJ came down to make the save for Jarret who was being picked apart, but AJ of course can't defend 5 on 1, is destroyed by the Main Event Mafia, while is shows Morgan taking out Daniels. Crowd is chanting "Same old shit" at this, and I have to agree with the five 40 year olds beating up the 25 year old and the other 40 year old, which leads to another 40 year old in Sting making the save and taking the Title. Stupid, I'm tired of beatdowns just like the crowd is. I was to see the young blood pull through finally.

-Overall - I was okay with this Impact. A lot of it was good just lack luster, and the rest of it was good but overbooked. The lack of Foley was a good thing, I was a little burnt out of him. The lack of Sting had the same great effect. I even think that Angle was out of the show enough for my liking. I realised during this show that one of my favorite things is TNA's ongoing short/mini promos through out the night. A lot of them are funny or whatever genre they are looking for and they do the job they are supposed to. More importantly, they are something that the WWE doesn't do and that's a good thing. The show also had a fair bit of wrestling in it and not as much BS as usual. Overbookingess of matches didn't help that though. Lack of Suicide, MCMG, Red, and Lethal Consequences sucks, especially since I feel that this was a generally overbooked show and adding them into the mix would have exasperated that, which means that TNA definitely needs to fire some people. I think I feel pretty okay about watching this Impact, and the only big gripe I really have is a lot of the show being overbooked and the continuation of the over the hill guys dominating the show. Overall, I'd give this show a 7/10. They still need to step it up.
