Dark matches are counted, and he competed in several of those, including: Royal Rumble 1993 (defeating Jim Powers). In WCW he competed at SuperBrawl I, SuperBrawl II, Great American Bash 1991, Halloween Havoc 1991, Starrcade 1991, WrestleWar 1992, Beach Blast 1992 as Big Josh (he may have competed under others, I would have to check).
