Backstory
Youngsters were often ignored in the WWE by Vince McMahon. It was obvious that with the likes of Hulk Hogan taking the spotlight, that Vince wasn't really thinking furthur into the future. The final nail into the cross was when Randy Orton was involved in a backstage incident with Triple H which went over the limits. Vince McMahon finally had enough and terminated the contract of Randy Orton. While giving Triple H a rather nice 1 week suspension. Orton left with no regrets while the youngsters of the WWE continued to fall below the ranks.
With Shawn Michaels just finishing retirement after WrestleMania XXVI, HBK made it clear that he will stick with wrestling even after retirement. Vince offered him a job as General Manager but Shawn declined the offer. Shawn then met up with a multi-millionare man named Blaze. Shawn reached out his ambition to build the future of wrestling as to which Blaze happily extended his arm to help HBK's ambitions. Paul Heyman was then involved into all of this as HBK pursuaded him to find young talent so they can all open a company.
Heyman spoke with WWE-reject, Randy Orton and pursuaded him to return to wrestling. Heyman said that Randy can lead the next generation into new heights. Orton only smirked and that was that. Meanwhile Vince McMahon finally decided to dispose his youngsters as Shawn and Blaze quickly took advantage and signed these youngers. Obviously, this company isn't going to get huge over night. So the NGW had small House Shows around Europe eventually raising their popularity. And now with the TV deal set and superstars having fresh contracts, HBK's dream for future wrestling has finally come true. But it will take a lot until these youngsters can prove Vince McMahon wrong. This is the start of a meteoric rise to the top. This is the NGW !
