The Hogan loss didn't hurt Randy Orton at all. With how Orton had just gotten into trouble, he was lucky to still be in such a big match. Wrestling Hulk Hogan is a way of being in the ring with the biggest star of all time. If you're able to get a good match out of Hogan (Rocky or Angle) you're looked at as a God. If you produce a horrible match, there has to be some question why you even got the match in the first place (Hunter or Taker).
