I think you guys are correct in saying that we shouldn't be the world police, but I do still feel that we have a deontological social duty to protect those who are not given the opportunity to protect themselves. Suffy, you do also make a great point that certain countries also have a interest that may not be in alignment with the rest of the worlds. Either way I think there's a lot more that we can, and should be doing. |
