The Portal are pretty decent, especially considering how long they've been pro, but the Ants are pretty much worthless in every way. The ladder match from the same show was great and a much better match to recommend than some sub-par effort at a Dragon Gate overkill tag with amatuerish execution.
And yet I was entertained even though I don't like spotfests. It sounds like you just don't like the Ants which is why you don't like the match.
