I don't think Couture or Nog really deserves a shot after winning a fight after a lose, whoever wins that fight needs one more win imo. I think it would be kind of a slap in the face for Brock if he had to fight Mir one more time straight after his win. It's kind of like "Well, we don't really think you are better than Mir, so he gets another shot."
As far as who the winner should fight next, it probably will either be Kongo or Carwin. Kongo did come off a loss, but if he wins his next fight they might set up Kongo/Carwin, and whoever wins will get a shot. Like you said, Cain isn't ready yet, maybe have him face the winner of Couture/Nog- to really test his skill, then go from there. |
