But obviously Toronto can support another team. I don't get it. Do people realize that in the NBA, the LA Clippers make money? You'd think the people in LA would be all about the Lakers (and they are) but the Clippers do just fine because there's so many people in that area who want to attend games and the Clipper games are much cheaper. It doesn't matter if its a Maple Leafs town. It'll always be a Maple Leafs town just as LA will always be a Lakers town, but if the other Toronto franchise came in and did well, people would still attend the games because above all, they love hockey. |
