It's relocation and not Expansion because you're simply relocating the Coyotes to Hamilton where as the Islanders will probably move to Kansas City. The only reason why people hate the Islanders now is a matter of a few reasons but people don't want to pay for a new piece of construction that Owner, Charles Wang wants to turn into a major spot on Long Island because of revenue and taxes that would go to funding the building. New York also has the Buffalo Sabres. Buffalo is a Hockey City which is close to Canada. Rangers are apart of the Original 6 so they aren't going anytime soon.
