His fight against Coleman was coming off 2 major knee surgeries and against Liddell(no matter how short it was) he looked like the Shogun of old. However, the fight didn't last long so that says nothing about his cardio or if he can repeat that performance. Saying Machida will destroy Rua is a bold statement considering a healthy Rua will be the greatest striker Machida has faced yet, easily. That being said, Rua is going to have one hell of a time dealing with Machida's style and it's going to be interesting to see how he approaches the fight. Silva came straight forward and got knocked out, Evans tried counter punching and got knocked out, now it's Rua's turn.
