| Re: The most bitter transfers ever? Wayne Routledge from Cardiff to QPR last season was pretty bitter. Although he wasn't actually a Cardiff City player (he was on loan from Villa), he'd said he'd love to stay at Cardiff, but then he signed with QPR because they offered him much more money.
I was there when he returned with QPR, and all the fans sang the Nelly song "Heeeey, must be the money!" The stadium announcer even dedicated the song to him pre match. The amount of abuse he got was funny. And to top it all off he had an absolute stinker of a game! ha ha |
