| Re: History of Hardcore Wrestling Cornette doesn't really say much in this one except that hardcore wrestling is pretty risky, which I think everyone realizes by now. It certainly has a place in wrestling, it just needs to be used more sparingly to make those matches/moments more spectacular and make them have a purpose.
I kind of had to lol at his comment about how in the past they would pretend to hurt each other and people would believe them, and now it's the opposite. There were some stiff mofo's back in the day. I think if bookers had an ounce of creativity and inspiration in their noggins wrestlers wouldn't have to go out every night and kill themsleves to make up for the shitty booking.
