| Re: History of Hardcore Wrestling I read this elsewhere and yeah there's a lot wrong here in terms of his facts and such. His knowledge of FMW is way off. Saying that all Japanese promotions are "sports entertainment" based couldn't be further than the truth, even BJW the biggest hardcore fed there is a traditional competition booked fed. Business in Japan hasn't declined much and it has nothing to do with FMW or hardcore wrestling. IWA's hardcore wrestling didn't kill wrestling in Kentucky, Ian's shitty business dealings and failures as a human being did, etc
His overall point is a very obvious one, but his views are pretty misguided.
