Re: Give Me Some Stuff To Watch

The only great WWE matches this year so far are Taker/HBK, Christian/Swagger (24/2/09) and the RAW elimination chamber from No Way Out. Though the latter may not be to everyone's tastes depending on wether you like the stip and the booking or not. Christian/Swagger is probably the closest to an ROH match I guess.

From the indy scene I would say check out the Olsen/Gerrard ladder match and all of the Uppercut matches from KOT in CHIKARA. Olsen/Gerrard you may need to know the backstory a bit for it but it's still the sort of match I imagine you would enjoy. The Uppercut matches are just a load of fun. The match against the Roughnecks is just a fun as hell match that has some good comedy and good serious wrestling to boot. It may enlighten you to why people like Kingston, too. And the match against 1,000 holds is also just a great match.

I havent been so hot on a lot of 2009 NOAH, though the Tag League Finals with Misawa/Go vs Sasaki/Morishima is getting a lot of love and you may dig that. Not sure wether thats postd here or not but it's on "that site". All the NJ vs NOAH tags, Misawa/Sugiura vs Nakamura/Goto, Go/Sugiura vs Nakamura/Milano and Goto/Okada vs Sugiura/Aoki, are all great. I'm not sure if they are for everyone, but there's a lot to like there. Maybe the best fued in wrestling this year. I'd also recommend the two big BJW deathmatches, Miyamoto/Sasaki vs Takeda/Isami and Ito/Ishikawa vs Takeda/Isami. No doubt they are not for everyone and there are many a light-tubes broken but the story-telling and emotion is top notch if you are willing to give them a shot. All of those are posted here I think or on "that site".
