Re: World Wrestling Entertainment 2k9 (Anything Can And Will Happen)

If you read my post in the BTB Discussion Thread you're aware that my Laptop got fried so I'm taking a hiatus for a few weeks until I get a new computer as my families desktop isn't free enough of the time for me to type my BTB. Fortunetely nobody is really around right now so I'm able to get Judgment Day typed up. I'm opting to do a live coverage type thing as opposed to posting it in full as I don't know if I will have time to finish the whole thing. The World Championship matches will be typed in full, but the Undercard will be typed in bullet point in order to conserve time. In the future when I have a computer to use my PPVs will all be typed in full so don't view this as an indication of a lack of quality or effort on my part.

0:05-0:23-WWE Championship Match, Randy Orton defends against HBK

HBK enters first to a huge pop. The announcers hype how HBK had the hardest time out of any of the men in the tournament simply due to the luck of the draw and how he ended up in a brutal NO DQ match with Triple H. They go over how Orton has a huge advantage not only due to the fact that due to being the champion he not only has had a lighter TV Schedule than HBK, only wrestling once in the Judgment Day preview Tag Match, but also due to the fact that he is the WWE Champion he got a bye straight to the PPV.

Orton enters second doing his slow methodical walk to the ring. Despite both Dibiase and Smith having matches to prepare for tonight they along with the newest member of Legacy Jamal are at Orton’s side. Orton slides into the ring and stares at his WWE Championship belt, perhaps for the last time before handing it off to the official. The official shows each men the belt from their respective corners and raises it in the air. The participants are announced in big match fashion. The rules are announced. Unlike the finals of each tournament bracket (example HBK VS HHH) where there were No DQ and No Countouts as there had to be a winner, regular WWE Championship rules apply to this match. Meaning there are DQs and Count Outs. In what is a very interesting note, the champion doesn’t exactly have to beat the contender to make it to the finals, all he has to do is leave with the belt still around his waist. Meaning, if Orton were to be DQed or Counted Out he would still remain champ, which means although HBK would have won the match, Orton would go onto defend the belt in the Undisputed Championship match as he still would be champion.

Before the bell can ring Eric Bischoff’s music hits. Bischoff states that in the interest of presenting the best possible product to the fans, anybody who gets involved in either the WWE, Heavyweight, or Undisputed Championship matches tonight will be fired on the spot. As a result Legacy are forced to leave ringside.

Beginning:
The match starts with Orton working HBK’s knee in methodical fashion. HBK tries to use his speedy offense to subdue Orton but perhaps due to the road HBK had to travel just to get to this match, it is no match for a fresh Orton. Orton spends most of the first ten minutes decimating HBK. The fans are behind HBK hoping for a comeback.

Middle: Orton nails a devastating dropkick onto HBK. He begins stalking HBK, the fans sense an RKO coming. This would be quite the disappointment if a WWE Championship match of such magnitude ended just shy of ten minutes.

Orton goes for the RKO, in a move of desperation HBK uses Ortons momentum to toss him over the top rope to the floor. The fans are on their feet. This could be the make or break moment of the match for HBK. HBK runs off the ropes and suicide dives to the floor, Orton moves out of the way sending HBK head first to the outside. HBK is out of it. The fans are disappointed that HBK’s comeback ended so abruptly.

Orton whips HBK shoulder first into the barricade as the ref counts. Orton keeps beating HBK down around ringside. Orton seems to be using an unorthodox strategy here, it looks like he is attempting to keep his belt by forcing a double countout. In such a scenario Orton still being champion would move onto the Main Event to defend his belt.

The ref is at 7 and Orton is in clear control, out of nowhere HBK delivers a huge Sweet Chin Music! Both men are down on the ground. HBK has 3 counts to roll back in and out of the ring to restart the count or else Orton will end up going to the finals.

The fans are on their feet. HBK gets into the ring at nine, and in a pit of desperation launches himself back out of the ring, crashing to the floor and doing some more damage to his knee. More importantly, HBK was able to restart the count.

Finish:
Orton, who has now recovered and regains control as a result of HBK’s blunder resumes his double countout strategy. Orton attempts to whip HBK into the stairs, HBK reverses it sending Orton crashing shoulder first into the steps. HBK rolls Orton back into the ring and climbs the top rope. After hitting the Heartbreak Elbow HBK covers for a late 2!

HBK makes it to his feet, out of nowhere Orton hits an RKO! You can sense the hope and energy drain out of the crowd right after that one swift move. Orton covers HBK, 1……2……3…..wait no! HBK gets his foot on the ropes! Orton begins arguing with the referee. Orton has the referee by the shirt, what a scumbag verbally abusing the official.

Another move out of nowhere, HBK makes a last ditch effort to hit a Sweet Chin Music but Orton uses the official as a shield. The official is down and out. HBK falls to his knees. Orton takes this as an opportunity to dish out more punishment to HBK. Orton goes to the outside and forces Lillian Garcia off of her chair. He goes into the ring and holds it in the air, the fans boo.

Orton stalks HBK, HBK makes it to his feet. Orton goes for one of the biggest chair shots I’ve ever seen, HBK ducks and reverses it into a Sweet Chin Music! The kick sends the chair crashing into Orton’s face! HBK plops down onto Orton.

Another referee does a hundred meter dash, I think he might have just broken that Bolt guys world record! He slides into the ring and makes the count.
