“Welcome fans to RAW is WAR, Wrestlemania XIV was less than 24 hours ago and now we get to begin the 12 month journey all over again. What about last night's event that really stood out in your mind JR?” - Jerry Lawler

“I would say that is was most definitely Stone Cold Steve Austin becoming the WWF Champion for the first time in his career, those moments are savored by superstars for the rest of their lives.” - Jim Ross

“And if you think it couldn't get any better, what a show we have lined up here at the DCU Center.” - Jerry Lawler

Summary:
The fans seem unsure who they want to win in the early stages of the match, as it is clear that both teams are likable for a number of different reasons. E & C show off their energy multiple times, with a number of double team moves ranging from double flapjacks to double missile drop kicks and there is no doubt that a lesser team would have crumbled to them. Unfortunately the New Age Outlaws are no such team, and looked they had the match wrapped up when they connected with a spike piledriver on Christian but Edge saved his brother at the last possible moment. The match ended, when Road Dogg took Edge out with a Pumphandle falling powerslam, whilst Billy Gunn held off Christian.

Winners: New Age Outlaws

Summary:
Regal and Snow had a match that can only be described as one sided, as William Regal was very much in control for the majority of the match. Regal showed his prowess with a combination of punches, uppercut and variations power slams that for some reason were a little too much for Snow to deal with. Regal looked on course for the win, when Al Snow suddenly grabbed “the head” and proceeded to ram it into Regal's head knocking him out and getting himself disqualified.

Winner: William Regal (via DQ)

No chance that's what you got.
Up against a machine too strong.
Greedy politicians buying souls from us are puppets.

“That music means only one thing JR.” - Jerry Lawler

Won't find their place in line.
Now, tie a string around your finger now, boy.
'Cause its just a matter of time.

“And normally it means nothing but bad new for one poor soul.” - Jim Ross

Vince McMahon can be send, wearing a suit and tie as he begins to walk down the entrance ramp, as he heads directly to the ring. The fans give him a mixed reaction, as they are very much unsure was the chairman is about to say or do.

'Cause you got No chance, no chance in hell.
You got no chance, no chance in hell.
You got no chance, no chance in hell.
You got no chance, no chance in hell, yeah.

Vince finally makes it down to the ring, as he climbs up the steel steps and enters the ring as he signals to the back for his music to be cut and a smile if only for a second appears on his face.

“My name is Vincent Kennedy McMahon and I am the most powerful man in the World Wrestling Federation. And I think it is extremely important that you the WWF fans know exactly what is going on, as you may have noticed a number of changes have been made since last night's show in Boston. You see sometimes changes have to be made, if a business is ever to grow and this brings nicely to the reason I came out.” - Vince McMahon

Vince pauses for a second before he continues.

“Now I have been looking at the matches that have been scheduled tonight, and there was only one that I have a problem with and that is the triple threat match between Owen Hart, Farooq and Taka Michinoku. The fact of the matter is that all three men have done more than enough to earn their place in the WWF. The problem I have is Light Heavyweight Championship. This is a belt, which isn't about progress. It isn't about development. And it isn't about prestige. And it is therefore for these reasons, that I am stripping Taka Michinoku of the belt and retiring the belt as a of now. Enjoy the rest of the show.” - Vince McMahon

“I guess that means that the next match tonight, will be the Nation versus the Hardyz?” - Jerry Lawler

Summary:
Owen Hart must have only just found out he was going to be representing the Nation, as he and Mark Henry walked out to face the Hardy Boyz. The Hardyz were wiley and strong willed, but it was clear that neither man had the strength to knock the powerhouse Mark Henry off his feet. The match was over, before it had even begun as Jeff Hardy found himself tapping out the the Sharp Shoot from Owen Hart.

Winner: Nation of Domination

As Matt aided Jeff to the back, Owen Hart and Mark Henry were joined in the ring by fellow Nation members The Godfather and Farooq. The Rock however, didn't join his stable mates as they celebrated their victory.

Summary:
Triple H looked tired and uncomfortable, and this allowed for Goldust to actually have some room in the match. Goldust hit a number of moves on Triple H and seemed to have found an opening, before meeting a brick wall as he was sent back down to the mat via a spinebuster. However, something went wrong in the move and Triple H fell to the floor grabbing his back in a large amount of pain. Goldust saw the window opportunity present itself as he hit the Curtain Call before pinning Triple H for the victory.

Winner: Goldust

Triple H remained flat on his back, and paramedics had to carry him out of the ring via a stretcher before rushing him to hospital.

The camera cuts to the back, where the Undertaker is standing in dark room that is only illuminated by a single candle. Undertaker looks at the camera, and rolls his eyes back into his head to the infamous snakes eyes as he speaks.

“KANE....MY BROTHER....REST....IN....PEACE!” -Undertaker

The candle suddenly goes out, as the segment comes to an abrupt end.

"I guess this means that the rivalry is far from over." -Jim Ross

Summary:
Cactus Jack had a clear superiority over Animal, as he is much more well known for his talent a singles competitor. Cactus man handled Animal a number of times and pull a lot of illegal moves out of the back and knew exactly how to disguise them and hid them from the referee. Cactus took Animal out with a DDT, but the referee was distracted by Hawk and the count was not made. Almost a second later, Animal grabbed Cactus and hit a scoop slam, and whilst Hawk took out Funk, Animal won the match.

Winner: Animal w/ Hawk

*GLASS SMASH*

The all too familiar sound means one thing, and one thing only as Stone Cold Steve Austin exits the back with the WWE Championship hanging over his shoulder.

“Oh my he is here, lets the victory party commence.” -Jim Ross

Steve Austin continues to march down to the ring, and the fans are literally going insane at the sight of seeing the Rattlesnake so soon after his iconic victory the night before.

“Hopefully we will find out what exactly is on Stone Cold's agenda now that the Heart Break Kid is pretty out injured for the foreseeable future.” -Jerry Lawler

Stone Cold reaches the ring, and leaps up onto the turnbuckle as he flips off the fans in the way that they have loved him doing so for as long as they have known him. The music fades down, but Stone Cold continues to stomp around the ring before finally coming to halt.

“Give me a hell yeah!” -Steve Austin

HELL YEAH!

“I said give me a hell yeah!” -Steve Austin

Summary:
Jeff and Rock certainly put on one hell of a match. The match was too and throw, with the Rock using shoulder breakers and spinebusters with Jarret returning with enziguris and drop kicks. The title looked as if it was going to change hands when the Rock found himself locked in the Figure Four, but was fortunate to grab hold of the bottom rope for the referee to call for a rope break. Jarret though he had it again, when he hit the Rock with the Stroke but yet again the Rock defied the odds as he lifted up his shoulders fractions of a second before the referee was about to say 3. The match ended out of nowhere, as the Rock reversed a grab by Jarret hit the Rock Bottom to retain his belt.

Winner: The Rock (retains Intercontinental Title)

The Rock celebrated his victory but clearly from his head actions he was expecting someone else to join him.

“Are crack beginning to form between the Rock and the Nation of Domination?” -Jerry Lawler

“I don't know King, but I guess we will have to wait till next week on RAW is WAR.” -Jim Ross
