| Re: 15. THOUGHTS ON - Best British wrestler ever? Has to be the Dynamite Kid. He helped keep technical wrestling alive through the birth of the storylines in the eighties. Plus, he has inspired countless professional wrestlers and was able to succeed whether it was tag team or singles.
- Dog colllar matches I've only seen two good dog collar matches. And because they should be used for the more intense, personal feuds, it really brings out the emotion and hatred between two rivals in the eyes of the fans.
- Raven in TNA/ROH Raven in ROH definately helped the company lift off. That was a very intense feud with CM Punk, and he put on some good matches in the promotion. He was great for that company because he was a great brawler good for these sorts of feuds to keep people on their seats. Plus he was smart. He knew what he was doing. I started watching TNA after he won the King of the Mountain match, so from there, I thought he was going to be a major league player. I saw the brains he cotributed to the company, but I wish I saw more of him in the upper card.
- The Kings Of Wrestling They were my favorite tag team around that time, and I knew they were going to deteriorate when Sweet and Sour came around. But, they were always criticised and overestimated from fans. Hero is simply entertaining, Claudio is escentric and a good pure wrestler. Plus, it introduced Claudio into ROH full time, and he started getting a good push until the heel run. I sometimes wish they got back together full time.
- Benoit vs Triple H matches Triple H unfortunately could not hold up with Benoit. Benoit knew this though, and Benoit carried Triple H when needed. But Triple H did help with a good match when Benoit first got here, and a good triple threat match at Wrestlemania 20.
- Jushin Liger in WCW He did help bring their cruiserweight division in fruition, and he was a good choice to do so. So much, he got more from that, and he truly deserved it. Great early 90's superstar. The Pillman series was fun to watch, and I wish I saw high octane cruiserweight matches in the WWE today.
- Young Jeff Hardy You could tell he was going to be the more popular out of the two Hardys, not taking anything away from Matt. He took more risks, which got him to the fans. I find MAtt a tad more entertaining today because of his mic skills, but Jeff really made himself who he is today, because how he was when he was young.
- TLC matches Very entertaining matches. It was a great gimmick idea, and putting three of the most entertaining tag teams (E & C, Hardys, 3D) in the first ones (summerslam and Wrestlemania) is what boosted its popularity. It is very spotty, and it is a match where it can be as spotty as it wants and it is still great. I thought when they've turned it into singles with Edge and Cena and Taker, it would be lackluster, but it is still exciting and still fun. Plus, they don't wear it out like Last Man Standing or Cage.
- Steve Corino He is in my top five non-wrestlers, my top ten wrestlers, and my second favorite heel. Kind of like what I was saying about Raven, he was good in getting put in positions to boost promotions and wrestlers. He had brains. What a great guy.
- The Briscoe Brothers I think when they started aligning with Jim Cornette I started seeing their downfall. They were becoming more riskier. MArk Briscoe was getting fragile. They sold no DQ matches like crazy. I still like them, but I don't see them becoming a dominant force.
