| Re: 15. THOUGHTS ON - Best British wrestler ever? - That I've seen probably boils down to William Regal and Nigel McGuinness. I know Dynamite Kid demonstrated the type of aggression and mat work that performers like Benoit demonstrated (Before he killed himself) and even now in Davey Richards. You'll probably get a ton of answers saying Johnny Saint was but of the guys that I've seen in my liftime, the growth of Nigel McGuinness has really shown great improvement and really can be one of the best once he fully recovers from all of his nagging injuries. But if you asked me...I'd say Dynamite then William Regal and then McGuinness
- Dog colllar matches - Classicly speaking...one of the more violent matches that I can remeber seeing was Piper's Legendary match with Greg Valentine. Just beating the piss out of each other from pillar to post and arguably, Jimmy Jacobs and Aries Blood feud where they had the dog collar match back in 2008...that to me had so much pure emotion and violence that I think that if you can utilize that match when used sparingly is one of the best matches you can have.
- Raven in TNA/ROH - Is there any debate that during his time in those two companies that he was one of the more influential names that sparked some of the best feuds especially with CM Punk in ROH. When he feuded with Jarrett in TNA it really focused on the psychology and while both workers were aged, Raven's smart business like mind for the ring really added depth and interest into that feud.
- The Kings Of Wrestling - Was one of the best Independent Tag Teams going till Larry Sweeney got in the way of things between Claudio and Chris Hero.
- Benoit vs Triple H matches - Always a great mix between the technical and physical aspects of Wrestling that was really a bright spot in 2004.
- Jushin Liger in WCW - The way he was presented in WCW, he really was treated as a Five Star act and here in the States really put on some great matches with Sting and Flair.
- Young Jeff Hardy - Are we talking about when he first got into the WWF in 1995? That sort of Jeff? If that is the case then he was incredibly limber and could bump with a tremendous rate. As the years went by, he continued to botch his maneuvers and got into troubles with drugs showing his rather immature side but really was a unique individual with some talent for the business.
- TLC matches - A nice sort of plunder is developed whenever a TLC match is announced. The violence in this match really helped to set the tone towards the competition that can sometimes be missing when a match like this has so much on the line.
- Steve Corino - An ingenius mind to this wrestling business that if somebody extended their hand to him would be able to benefit greatly from the mindset that he like Raven like Foley and like Lance Storm can view from this business on how creative storylines and the in's and out's of the wrestling business go about. A talent that I felt was vastly under-utilized but I am still looking for that Interview Corino if you do happen to read this at some point in your lifetime.
- The Briscoe Brothers<!-- google_ad_section_end --> - Rough and Tough No Sellers for Ring of Honor. You legitimeatly have to consider the amount of heat they get is because for the most part, their act can get stale. I wish Jay finally turned Heel and is just another example of ROH extenuating storylines way to long.
