Last week Vince McMahon shook things up once again with the firing of Vick Guerrero. He said "It will be clear who runs Raw next week!" Vickie Guerrero left the building in tears. Edge is said to have been very upset with this and he is going to talk to Vince next week. After Vince told Vickie she was fired, he said things are gonna get a little interesting in the WWE again. He said this after the show: "Well, next week we are beginning a new era of wrestling or perhaps, returning to an old one."

In a high flying, high impact match like this was expected to be, Evan Bounre edged out Kofi Kingston. Kofi Kingston went for the "Trouble in Paradise" and Bourne ducked and hit an impressive kick to the face of Kofi Kingston. Evan Bourne climbed the ropes and hit a PERFECT "Shooting Star Press" and put Kofi out for the count.

Earlier in the night, sick of the Santina antics, Vickie Guerrero ordered Santino to tell his sister that she would face Big Show. If Santina loses, Santino must face his sister next week! This match didn’t last long as Big Show choke slammed Santina in 30 seconds and Show scored the pin fall.

The Colon’s def. Hornswoggle and Goldust - Non-Title
Earlier in the night, Goldust and Hornswoggle met for the first time on Raw. Without Finlay on Raw, Horswoggle hardly knew any one. Goldust oddly took Hornswoggle under his wing. In a fun, fast paced match up, the match ended when Carlito did the Back stabber to Goldust at about 5 minutes in.

The rivalry continues between John Cena and Randy Orton. Randy Orton attacked Cena in the beginning of the show, so Cena fought this battle injured. Randy Orton attacked like a viper and targeted Cena’s back, which he injured with a steel chair earlier. At around fifteen minutes, Randy Orton RKO’d Shad and got the pin fall victory in what was a one sided match.
