I'm pretty sure by "bad finish" he meant when the match has a finish like that which doesn't make sense. I would go along with that. The finish is so important to any match and even if you have really enjoyed the match up until that point, a bad finish just leaves a bad taste and makes you dislike the match.

An example would be Triple H vs Jeff at No Mercy. The match itself wasn't really that bad at all, but when Triple H managed to counter Jeff with a pin after Jeff had JUST hit his two biggest moves, all I could think was..."this is bullshit".

Sorry to use another Triple H-related example. I must seem like the definition of a hater at this stage lol.

Obviously a bad botch can really fuck things up too.

Damn, he doesn't fuck up. That's probably the one thing he still has going for him.
