This might be the saddest example of broad generaliztion that I have ever seen. I know you said you were kidding, but dang man. I guess it's theoretically possible that every single gay, punk, goth, homeless, and old person you have ever met are people with crappy personalities... but it sounds to me like there might be a slightly different problem... i.e., you need to get over yourself. I mean, it's possible that a lot of those people are negative, but they're negative for a reason. None of the people are a part of mainstream society, either by choice or by chance. And when you can step out of (or get forced out of) American mainstream society, you can really begin to see what a crock it really is. But know matter how much you are faced with it, you really can't escape it without leaving the country (which isn't exactly practical for most people).[/quote:post_uid0]
I think the fact that I was joking, you accepted that I was joking and oh yeah, I was joking, kinda lets me off the hook here.
Of course Ive met gay people as well as other types of people that Ive liked in some way or another, but I just know about 7 gay people and 5 of them are real assholes, the other 2 are alright. Generally theyre seen as being this way by most people (Un-biased, reasonable people that is, other kinda people dont really count). |
