No one really cares for the positive test because he went earlier than everyone thought he would. And as for Bey and Maclin, Maclin clearly has the advantage there with McNabb throwing to him and Jackson on the other side of the field. He'll learn faster and most likely will have a better career.
As for Denver, it was smart of them to take the best back when they knew they would still get a quality DE with their next pic. They couldn't say the same if they went DE first and Moreno was off the board by then. It was a smart move that helped them fix the team on both sides of the ball.
