What a great reach. First Jackson, now Heyward-Bey. While Jackson at least was projected as a Mid 1st round pick, Heyward-Bey was projected as late as mid-round 2!. With Crabtree STILL on the board, ohmygod. 12. Denver Broncos - Knowshon Moreno, HB, Georgia
.................................ok then. You're defense was the biggest achilles heel, and with one of the top defensive players on the board you go to HB. Makes perfect sense 13. Washington Redskins - Brian Orakpo, DE, Texas
Interesting, not really a need(like OT is) but a good player nonetheless. Defense was one of their strengths last year, and now it's getting stronger, not bad, but not really the guy you thought would be there. 23. Baltimore Ravens - Michael Oher, OT, Ole Miss
A steal if there ever was one. A great pick, and it's unbelievable he's still available |
Raiders- Not only did he go over Crabtree, he went over Maclin and Harvin as well. But it's Al Davis. What did you expect really? It's like he wants his team to suck.
Bronco-Even though it wasn't their biggest need, They did need a RB, which really didn't have a deep field this year. I mean last year they went through how many RBs? With Cutler gone, they need someone else on the offensive side to win them some games.
Redskins-My guess is that they went this route because they released Taylor.
Ravens-I would have picked this guy over Andre Smith. He's just amazing.
