Davis handled the energy crisis terribly, and it's not something he has denied.

Davis is a caricature of everything that's wrong with Democrats. After squandering all of the states money and then some, he just kept spending. He has invested nothing in infrastructure and has slashed university funding horribly. Any governor that thinks raising college tuitions over 50% is an acceptable way to generate revenue for the state is a failure.

It seems as though he put no thought into generating revenue what so ever. Instead of creating a more hospitable environment for all the businesses that are leaving California, he mindlessly makes the citizens pay more to the state everywhere they look. School tuition, [b:post_uid0]tripling[/b:post_uid0] the car tax, increased sales tax. It's rediculous and Californians are the ones getting screwed. There's a reason why a Democratic governor only has a 25% approval rating in a state that is 60% Democrat.

The similarites to California's economy and that national economy are pretty similar on the surface, and I'm sure we're going to have that point driven home hard by Democratic presidential hopefuls in the next year, particularly in California.

I find it pretty funny that in the past months liberals - the open minded tolerant folks - having been ripping on Schwarzenegger for having a foreign accent. A little hypocritical I think.
